Studio Values
Creativity is for Everyone: Every child is a creator. We nurture confidence by celebrating all ideas, approaches, and ways of making, ensuring an inclusive and affirming space for all.
Play & Experimentation: We learn best when we explore with curiosity, take risks, and embrace mistakes as part of the creative process.
Collaboration & Community: Art and design are more powerful when shared. Our studio fosters teamwork, communication, and meaningful creative connections.
Diverse Ways of Knowing & Creating: There’s no single path to creativity. We honor different cultural perspectives, learning styles, and artistic practices.
Making with Purpose: Whether through storytelling, design, or hands-on projects, our students use creativity to express themselves, solve problems, and shape the world around them.
A Firm Commitment to Inclusion & Belonging
We proudly welcome and affirm LGBTQ+ families, gender-creative and trans kids, immigrant families, and foster a space where every child can fully be themselves. Our studio is actively anti-racist and anti-colonial—not just in who we welcome, but in how we teach, what histories and cultures we uplift, and the creative norms we set. Rather than centering dominant narratives, we explore expansive ways of making, imagining, and storytelling. Every child is valued, seen, and supported in bringing their full creative self to the space.
