How You Can Support Access to SPARK Studio’s Arts Education for Chicago Kids

Earlier this week, a parent from November Holiday Camp reached out to me and asked if there were ways they could help make our camps and other programs successful (besides participating). There are a few things I could always use some help with, and I thought it might be worthwhile to share my response with all of you:

Parent-to-parent word of mouth is the most effective way to reach more families, and the more families we’re able to reach, the better programming we’re able to provide for everyone.

If your kid has had a positive experience with SPARK Studio, please share our information with other parents whose kids might also be interested in joining us for a holiday camp, a session of group classes, or a parents’ night out. Also, to the same end, we’ve very recently set up a Google Business profile for SPARK Studio, and it would be amazing if you’d leave a review

If you know people or organizations we should be partnering with to expand accessible arts programing for Chicago kids, please feel free to make an introduction!

We are always looking for kid-friendly arts and craft supplies and tools. If you have and want to donate any of the following, I would be thrilled to arrange a time to swing by and pick them up:

Drawing/Painting: pencil sharpeners, rulers and geometric shape templates (circles, ovals, stencils, etc), clip boards, paintbrushes, aprons and smocks, rags, spray bottles, clip boards, binder clips, paint brushes, water containers, easels, pencils, colored pencils, erasers, drawing paper, sketchbooks, printer paper, crayons, oil pastels, chalk pastels, charcoal, paper towels, markers (all kinds), gel pens, tempera paint, watercolors, acrylic paint
