The Details
Who: Chicago kids ages 5–9
When: Friday, February 27, from 5:00–9:00 PM
Drop-off anytime after 5:00 PM
Pick-up anytime before 9:00 PM
Where: SPARK Studio (1800 W Cornelia Ave, Studio 205A)
What to Expect
Kids will spend the evening creating, eating pizza, and winding down with a movie in a fun, relaxed studio setting. We’ll start with open-ended arts and crafts, move into a guided take-home project, and finish the night with a cozy movie time complete with a pillow-and-canvas fort.
It’s a great mix of creativity, play, and downtime—while parents enjoy a few hours to themselves.
What to Bring
Clothes that can get a little messy
(We’ll have smocks, but paint has a way of finding sleeves!)
A refillable water bottle (if your child usually uses one)
Any comfort items your child might want during movie time
Optional: pajamas to change into for the second half of the evening
What Not to Bring
Please don’t send your child with candy or extra snacks unless required for medical reasons. We’ll provide food and snacks and want to avoid conflicts that can come up when some kids have items others don’t.
If your child has food allergies, medical needs, or is a picky eater, please note this on the enrollment form so we can prepare accommodations in advance.
