September Parents' Night Out
What: We'll do some arts and crafts, have some pizza, and watch a movie (weather dependent, we might be able to do this with the projector in the back courtyard!). It's going to be a great time! You can drop your kids off anytime after 5pm and pick them up anytime before 9pm.
Who:
Kids between the ages of 5-9
When:
September 26, 5-9PM
Where:
SPARK Studio, 1800 W Cornelia Ave, Studio 205A
What (Overview):
We'll do a take-home craft project, have some pizza, and watch KPop Demon Hunters (weather dependent, we might be able to do this with the projector in the back courtyard!). It's going to be a great time! You can drop your kids off anytime after 5pm and pick them up anytime before 9pm.
What (Should We Bring):
Make sure your kid arrives wearing clothes they can get a little messy! We’ll have smocks, but we also never underestimate any child’s ability to get paint on their clothes!
If your kid usually has one, a refillable water bottle
any comfort items your kid might want to have during movie time
(optional, if they want!) pajamas for them to change into for the second half of the night
What (Should We Not Bring):
Please don’t send your kid with candy or any extra snacks unless needed for medical reasons (like Type I Diabetes / hypogyclemia). We’ll have plenty of options for them and would like to avoid the conflict that sometimes erupts over some kids having a snack that other kids want. If your kid has medical needs, food allergies or is just a picky eater, let me know in the enrollment form so that I can make sure we have an accommodation prepared for them!
Detailed Agenda:
5-5:30pm: We’re going to start off with some freestyle arts and crafts while everyone arrives, settles in, and gets to know each other.
5:30-7pm: We’ll get started on a fun craft project. Pizza arrives at 6pm, and we’ll chow down while bringing our creations to life.
7pm-9pm: From here, it’s movie time. If you sent pajamas with your kids, they’ll get changed in the private single-stall bathrooms across the hall. Then, depending on the weather, we’ll either head out to the back courtyard and spread out some blankets to watch our movie on the projector or we’ll set up our in-studio pillow and canvas dropcloth fort to watch it inside.
